US party screening
Check whether a company or person appears in the US export screening lists. The Consolidated Screening List (CSL) merges 13 lists from the Departments of Commerce, State and the Treasury (Entity List, SDN, Denied Persons, Unverified…).
When to screen
Exporting to the US
Screen the buyer, the L/C bank and the US-side forwarder before signing.
Importing US-origin technology
If the seller or end-user is listed, the deal may need a US licence.
Acting as intermediary / processor
A listed party in the chain can get your shipment held at a US port.
